Tried a new trail to reach Mt. Arayat's Peak (Pinnacle to South Peak). Thought it was easy but NO. HAHAHA :) . This was not a DIY trip but you can get some tips and details here.
Days required / Hours to summit: 1-2 days / 5 hours (NP) 8 hours (SP)
Specs: Major climb, Difficulty 5/9, Trail class 1-4 (10kms)
Features: Tropical forest, scenic views of Central Luzon
Jump Off: San Juan Bano near Arayat National Park

THE TRAIL
The trail is generally shaded and forested. Walking further, it became more challenging because of the descending and ascending trail accompanied by big roots, big rocks and boulders.





NOTES
- Bring insect repellant. There are a lot of mosquitoes and other biting insects along the trail.
- Bring a lot of water. It is a long walk and the weather may be really hot.
- No water source
- There are no stores/vendors along the trail
- No Signal
